Every Friday

CitySafe Podcast

Loss. Liability. Law.

CitySafe Podcast is a conversation about what a business faces after an incident: retail theft, shopkeeper’s privilege, false imprisonment, worker safety and OSHA, and how long footage is kept, weighed against the privacy of the people in it. It is hosted by Don Carr, Co-Host and Producer, and Jim Cords, Co-Host and Executive Producer. Jim spent his federal career at the FBI, DHS and the DHS Office of Inspector General. Don has owned and run private security companies and designed the systems behind them. A new episode every Friday, most of them under fifteen minutes.

Every Wednesday

Hotelligence Podcast

the space between awareness and action

Hotelligence Podcast is about how hotel operators across markets and property types navigate incidents, uncertainty and risk, in places where liability, expectations and the tolerance for action vary widely. It is hosted by Don Carr, who has owned and run private security companies serving hotel properties, and Jim Cords, a retired federal investigator. Rather than tactics or prescriptions, the show looks at how structure, neutrality, escalation and the responsibility for a decision are understood differently from one hotel category and market to the next. A new episode every Wednesday, most of them under ten minutes.
