When an owner decides to share an incident with your agency, what reaches you is not a grainy clip on a thumb drive. It is a sealed, verifiable evidence bundle, built to survive a courtroom and everything on the way to it.
Most of what happens to a business happens on private property, in front of cameras the business owns. The problem was never a lack of footage. It was that by the time it reached an investigator, the footage had lost its context, its timeline and its provenance.
Every CaseTrace property keeps its own record, sealed to the FusionTrace Evidence Standard. The FusionTrace Global Network is how those records help one another without any property giving up control, and how an authorized handoff reaches the agency that needs it.
Nothing on this diagram moves on its own. A record crosses the network only at record level, and it reaches an agency only because the property owner chose to hand it over.
An evidence bundle is the sealed package a property owner hands to your agency. A sealed package reaches an authority one of three ways: a secure link the business sends, behind a one-time code; an upload into the law enforcement agency's own evidence portal, such as Axon Evidence.com; or a release through the FusionTrace agency portal after the business approves the request. Every route is locked: encrypted, to the recipient the business chose, every look on the record. And on every route the package arrives sealed: each file carries a SHA-256 fingerprint and the whole package is digitally signed, so change one byte and the check fails. The recipient, and the prosecutor, defense and court the case brings in, verify it themselves, with no key from us.
The record is sealed the moment it is made, at the property, before anyone has a reason to want it changed. The seal is math, not a promise: a SHA-256 fingerprint on every file, and a digital signature on the whole package.
Who documented it, when, from which device, on which timeline. The answer to "where did this come from?" travels with the evidence instead of living in someone's memory.
Every access is logged from the first view to the handoff to your agency. Shared links expire. The log is append-only, and it is in the bundle.
