Your team documents it from a phone: where, when, what they observed, in facts and their own words. No signal? It waits on the phone and seals when it can. Sealed, the record gets an incident number. Every photo and clip is fingerprinted, so any later change shows. A palm-sized box sits on top of the recorder you already own.
Nothing to rip out. Need the moment? Search back by what someone was wearing, by when, or by a face. Where your recorder allows it, the box asks it for the older window.
On the cameras it can see, ReTrace keeps the floor's side of a slip and fall: when the condition was first observed, how long it stood, every chance to clear it, and when it was cleared.
When you did it right, the record shows it. A trespass notice is read aloud from your state's script and recorded. Staff confirm the transcript against the original audio, and it is sealed with the record.
Across your stores, one rollup reads them all, and pattern files connect your own incidents, store to store.
When police or your insurer need it, a manager approves the handoff. The record gets a case number, and they receive one sealed Evidence Exchange Bundle, with a signed manifest and the Record Chain, every event hash-chained. Press Verify the seal, and every file is re-hashed while you watch. The recipient, and the prosecutor, defense and court the case brings in, verify it themselves, with no key from us.
Face comparison is optional, chosen per location, and only against that store's own records. It reports similarity, never identity, and a person decides. No record is pooled. None is sold. We never label a person.
We built it the opposite way from networks that collect everything first and ask later. The system never decides. Every determination is made by a person, one hundred percent of the time.
