Request Account & Data Deletion
If you have an account with a BlueWave Technology application (including SafeScope), you may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your user account and login credentials
- Profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Any uploaded photos or media associated with your account
- Face recognition data and biometric identifiers
- Activity logs and usage history
- Device registration data
- Any other personally identifiable information tied to your account
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your account and data, please email us at:
Include the following in your request:
- The email address associated with your account
- The app name (e.g., SafeScope)
- A statement that you wish to delete your account and all associated data
Processing Time
Account and data deletion requests will be processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Data Retention After Deletion
Once your account is deleted, your data is permanently removed from our active systems. Some data may be retained in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being purged, solely for disaster recovery purposes. Data required to be retained by law (e.g., billing records) will be kept for the legally mandated period and then deleted.
